Streaming & renting films from Peccadillo.

Welcome to a unique, independent streaming service from Peccadillo Pictures, presenting a curated selection of LGBTQ+ feature films, TV shows, documentaries and short films.

Subscription is only available for audiences who are located in the UK and Ireland

What benefits do I get from Subscribing?

If you join Peccadillo on a monthly or annual plan you get access to the whole subscription section of the Peccadillo on-demand platform.

As part of the curated selection new films are added each week as older films rotated out. There are different “seasons & collections” which will feature a selection of titles around a specific subject or topic. New titles are highlighted on the website, as are the films that are about to leave.

What languages are the film in? Do they have subtitles?

Films are always available in their original language, if it is not in English then they will have English subtitles. Whenever possible English language films will have Closed Captions for the hard of hearing.

Can I enable subtitles?

Some films will have subtitles available as a separate text file. These can be toggled in the player.

Some films have subtitles burned into the film; these are not possible to disable.

What video quality are the films available in?

Quality is of great importance to Peccadillo Pictures. Most titles will be presented in High Definition (HD) although very occasionally some older titles may be presented in Standard Definition (SD) as that may be the only source material available.

Can I watch offline?

Yes, but only through the Peccadillo App on iOS and Android phones and tablets. You can download available films to watch offline. The time limit for watching them is 30 days after download.

Can I watch in locations outside of the UK and Republic of Ireland?

Streaming subscription is only available for customers located within the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. Some of our titles are available to rent outside of the UK and Ireland, please look at the international section on the menu bar for these.

How to create an account

You just need to enter your name, date of birth, email address and create a password. You can create your own account here

After registering, please choose one of the available subscription plans to have unlimited access to our curated collection of incredible LGBTQ+ titles.

What is the monthly/annual subscription cost?

Our subscription costs £6.99 per month. We also offer an annual plan at £70.00, which saves you about 17% compared to the monthly plan.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time within the current period and before renewal. There are no long-term commitments or cancellation fees. When you cancel your subscription, it will run through to the end of your current monthly or annual plan.

Is there a free trial period available?

In order to offer our membership at an affordable price we do not have a free trial period.

Can I explore the selection before joining?

Yes, before subscribing you can explore our collection, browse the sections and read synopses of the films on our website.

3. How to watch

Ways to watch

Watch it on a browser with a Windows PC, Mac OS or the Peccadillo App which is available to download from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Download the Peccadillo App sign into the app and the content will be available on you Android Phone, Tablet and GoogleTV OR iPhone, iPad and AppleTV.

The films that are available to watch via subscription or digital rental will be in ‘my library’ .

Requires iOS 11.2 or later or Android 6.0 or later.

You will need a broadband or fibre internet connection - dial up will not work.

Unfortunately, Linux devices are not supported and will not work.

What are the requirements for Windows computers?

Windows 10 or Windows 11. Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser as earlier versions may not be supported.

What are the requirements for MAC computers?

Mac OSX 10.15 or later.
Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser as earlier versions may not be supported.


Can I Chromecast content?

You can Chromecast from Chrome or Edge on PC and Chrome on Mac to your Google TV to watch. Make sure your devices are connected on the same Wi-fi network

If necessary, you might have to update Chrome to the latest version.

How about Airplay?

Airplay has been enabled. You can cast from Mac Safari to your Apple TV to watch. Please make sure your devices are connected on the same Wi-fi network.

If necessary, update your Safari browser to the latest version.

Can I playback from my computer to TV via an HDMI connection?

Yes, just connect your HDMI cable from Your computer to an HDMI port on your TV, select that input and stream away.

I can’t stream any of the content, what’s going on?

Check your minimum system requirements above. We recommend that you update to the latest version of your browser.
We use adaptive bitrate streaming which means the streaming quality will automatically adjust based on your internet speed. For High Definition (HD) streaming we recommend VDSL, cable or fibre connections as we cannot guarantee consistent HD streaming on ADSL.


Screen mirroring over wireless connection between your device and tv will not work

What happens if I forget my password?

Simply click Forgot your password on the Sign In page, enter the email address you used when you created an account and a link to reset your password will be sent to you.


Why does video playback stall or not play smoothly?

If your internet connection is poor or inconsistent you may experience problems during playback. Try lowering the playback bitrate.

4. Community screenings

These details are being updated please bear with us while we gather all the neccessary information for you. Meanwhile, if there are any queries in relation to booking film for cinema or community screenings in the UK & Ireland please send your request to hello(at)peccadillo.film.

Any requests outside UK & Ireland kindly contact your local film distributor, we wouldn’t be able to assist with these bookings.
